Martyn Element, Chairman
Martyn Element is the founder and President of Element and Associates, which is primarily focused on sourcing and pursuing new business ventures globally. The group has attained a proven track record of successfully advising and marketing new business ventures. He has cultivated an extensive global network and developed strong working relationships with specialized funds and other related parties in conjunction with the various aspects required to market these opportunities. He developed his experience in the public financial markets in Canada, prior to forming Element and Associates in 1989. Before entering the financial markets, he was involved in the food and beverage industry in Canada and the United Kingdom. Martyn brings a genuine personal interest to each project, a skill set of identifying needs and developing strategic plans, as well as providing an extensive network of investment and financial contacts.
Andrew Neale, BASc, MASc, President & CEO
Andrew is a Canadian engineer with over 35 years’ experience in all aspects of the international mining industry from early-stage feasibility studies, through to mine construction, operation, and mine closure. Andrew started his career in Canada with Falconbridge and Noranda, and then completed 13 years with PT Freeport Indonesia finishing as VP Technical Services with site-wide responsibilities for engineering, construction, and operational support services. Since then, Andrew has held senior executive positions in various public and private mining companies with projects in Central America, South America, the Middle East, and South-East Asia. Andrew is currently based in Jakarta Indonesia.
Kiki Smith, CFO, Director
With over 20 years of experience, Kiki has been assisting private and public companies in the roles of accountant, corporate controller and chief financial officer in mining, oil and gas, real estate, high technology, food production, and investment fund management. She currently provides consulting services in mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance to several public and private companies in the resource, food production and investment sectors. Kiki graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She is member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
John McCleery, Director
John is a mining entrepreneur with over 40 years experience in resource exploration, development and financing of projects globally. Most recently John co-founded Creston Moly and served as Director and Head of Corporate Development where he spearheaded over $40 million in equity financing to acquire and advance the El Creston project in Mexico. Under his co leadership, the El Creston project advanced to become Mexico’s largest molybdenum deposit, advancing through to Pre-Feasibility in under two years, and was subsequently acquired by Mercator Minerals for $195 million. John has established a reputation as the catalyst behind various successful start-up and early stage resource companies bringing new sources of projects and capital.
